When I first received the pack I watched it myself, I thought it was excellent and decided to use it with S2 (13 year olds). Our first unit is called 'personal safety' and the video gave us a focus and incorporated many of the themes we wanted to cover- e.g being 'home alone'…safety when carrying a mobile phone etc and the package fitted our needs exactly. As a mother of three children, one of whom is thirteen I am pleased to note that youngsters' safety is being taken more seriously and as a teacher, I am happy to try to provide our pupils with strategies regarding how to deal with a variety of situations life may throw at them. This pack provides pupils with an open forum for discussion. I have recommended the pack to all my teaching friends and colleagues as I personally feel that it is something which each pupil should be exposed to in their early teens. Thank you for the excellent resource which was sent to school and which I am using with yr 9 pupils. I teach Drama and have been amazed by the fact that many children have been approached by adults who frightened them. One boy admitted that he had resorted to carrying a knife for protection so all issues raised in the video were relevant to them.

I am a PSHE teacher who recently attended one of your excellent training courses. I think you should also target drama teachers and senior management as well as PSHE for your training courses.
